We are delighted that Suchiko is returning to Manor Farm to run another course. She will again give advice on where to buy specialist ingredients to recreate dishes easily at home and understand the health benefits of Japanese cuisine. The course will be run following Japanese Vegetarian recipes, but can have fish or meat added for those who would like this addition.
The recipes may include:
Oriental and seasonal vegetable katsu
Kenchinjiru (Soup of Japanese vegetables, with miso based kombu and kombu dashi)
Seaweed salads
Okonomiyaki (savoury pancake) or crispy Gyoza dumplings
Gomaae (Green beans and sugar snap beans with black sesame sauce)
Stir fried soba noodles with vegetables
Roasted aubergine with sweet miso sauce
Japanese curry with rice
Chicken Yakitori
Fruits agar jelly
Matcha tea roll cake
